Fausto De Angelis has more than twenty years of background and experience as an international business lawyer.
He carries out legal and corporate consultancy activities for large companies and SMEs, especially those who already operate abroad or who intend to start a process of internationalization and development in foreign markets (especially the USA, MENA countries and Eastern Europe). In these countries, he has had the opportunity to work directly onsite, relating to local clients and suppliers and starting up positive business relationships with professionals and institutions. From a legal and corporate point of view, he has managed the start-up of new commercial branches as well as complex restructuring operations.
He began his profession as a lawyer in a law firm in Rome where he acquired extensive experience in commercial and labour law.
He then began his career as a corporate lawyer in the legal department of the American multinational Bristol – Myers Squibb, leader in the pharmaceutical sector, where he trained as an international lawyer in the field of business contracts, Corporate law, EU law and Antitrust law.
After his experience in the pharmaceutical sector, he joined the legal department of Whirlpool, an American multinational in the household appliance sector, where in 13 years he further developed his skills internationally, having legal responsibilities throughout the EMEA area (Europe, Middle East and Africa). At Whirlpool, he most held the position of EMEA Director of Legal, Corporate Affairs & Government Relations.
He graduated in Law from “La Sapienza” University in Rome and completed post-graduate studies in Business Law at the Harvard Law School and in General Management and Strategy at SDA Bocconi.
He currently has an office in Varese and is a Consultant to important institutions and Trade Associations such as Assolombarda Milano Monza-Brianza, AIME (Association of European Entrepreneurs) and CONFAPI Varese (Association of Small and Medium Industries).
